Spring Break | Day 5: Staycation Ideas

What are your plans for spring break this year?  If you are trying to save money this time, there are plenty of staycation ideas you can do with your family and/or friends.  So, why not stay local and save that money for a summer vacation. 

Whether it is your spring break or your kids, below are some ideas you can do during that week.

1.  Visit a theme park.
2.  Go on a hike.
3.  Visit museums and/or historic sites.
4.  Try Geocaching.
5.  Fruit or Vegetable Picking (If available).
6.  Visit a zoo or aquarium.
7.  Kayaking, Paddleboarding or Paragliding.
8.  Host a themed party.
9.  Explore your city or another city.
10.  Camp in your backyard.
11.  Spa Day
12.  Take a cooking Class.
13.  Wine & Paint Class.
14.  Water Park.
15.  Go to any festivals or special events in your city.
16.  Watch a show or play.
17.  Entertainment dining.
18.  Spend a day at the beach or host a bon fire.
19.  Tour a local factory or brewery.
20.  Wine tasting. 
21.  Visit nearby tourist spots.
